WCHA Web Media Poll: Week 3

The Week 3 WCHA Web Media Poll is all about change as 11 of the 12 WCHA teams made moves this week. Denver passed Minnesota by the narrowest of margins, gaining seven first place votes, after sweeping Michigan Tech at home and remaining undefeated. North Dakota was the only team keeping its ranking from last week, remaining at 3rd, while St. Cloud State jumped three spots to 4th after a convincing sweep of Minnesota State. St. Cloud State was not the biggest mover, however. Wisconsin climbed four spots in the rankings to 6th after taking 3 points from Minnesota–Duluth on the road. Earning only 1 point against the Badgers in Duluth caused the Bulldogs to suffer the largest drop this week, from 4th to 8th. There was also a change at the bottom the poll as Minnesota State fell from 9th to 12th to replace Alaska Anchorage for last place.
