WCHA Web Media Poll: Week 7

Michigan Tech was the only team idle this weekend as six teams played interconference series while five other teams took part in non-conference action over the holiday weekend. Despite losing at home twice to eastern teams, Denver remains in first, but lost some ground to Minnesota. The Gophers now have sole possession of second place after sweeping the Catamounts in Vermont. North Dakota slipped to third after being tied with Minnesota last week after UND split with Notre Dame. The rest of the top 7 remained the same, but the following four places were swapped as Minnesota State climbed from 11th to 8th after sweeping the Badgers in Madison, while Wisconsin fell from 8th to 11th. Bemidji State and Minnesota Duluth traded 9th and 10th place. This coming weekend will mark the first time all twelves teams will be in action with WCHA points on the line.
