Week 10 WCHA Media Poll Analysis

After a weekend split between the two teams, Bemidji State received every 1st place vote and Michigan Tech received every 2nd place vote in our most recent poll. Elsewhere in the standings, we're starting to see some possible changes of position: Bowling Green is only four points behind Minnesota State and Ferris State is only two points behind Lake Superior.

What could make both of those shuffle around is the matchup between Bulldogs and the Mavericks. If the Bulldogs pull off an upset win, even just a single win to split the series, that could pull them up and the Mavericks down and flip both of those close races in next week's poll. It's also possible that Bowling Green could pull off a win at home against the travelling Huskies and actively earn a few more points to get on top of Minnesota State.
