In attendance for tonight’s hockey game were at least a half-dozen NHL scouts. Among them was a famous former Detroit Red Wing and the current General Manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Steve Yzerman.

Yzerman was in town to scout some of the undrafted players on the ice for the Huskies and visiting Mavericks, but early in the third period word began to spread throughout the arena that the Red Wings legend was in attendance. The Misfits even started to chant his name at one point and eventually, the Misfits honored Yzerman by giving him a Mitch’s Misfits shirt. He displays it proudly below:
