Linkorama turns 5 weeks this time around and our hockey Huskies are back in action in Bemidji.  This week also starts the NCAA fall early signing period and a number of future Huskies have inked their letter of intent.

Recruits

Chris Leibinger, Jake Jackson, and Mike Neville signed letters of intent to join the Huskies.

Dane Birks participated in the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s Young Prospects Games, which are being held in conjunction with the World Junior A Challenge series.

Marcus Ericcson remains tied for the lead in the USHL for all defensemen with 4 goals.  Leibinger is tied for 4th.

Alumni

Jarkko Ruutu is still upsetting opposing players, seen here in the video as he checks an opponent over the boards.

Riley Nelson had a hat trick and helped his Eagles to a season high 5 game win streak.

Josh Robinson continues to impress, so much so that he was called up to the Texas Stars (AHL) this week.
