The next Patreon chat is coming up and will feature former MTU captain and current general manager and head coach of the Youngstown Phantoms Brad Patterson. After playing for the Huskies from 1998 to 2002 in 143 games with 60 career points, Patterson would go on to play professionally in the USA as well as Europe with stints in Italy and the United Kingdom. Following his playing career he stepped behind the bench with the Youngstown Phantoms as an assistant coach in 2009 in their first season in the USHL. Patterson became the head coach in 2016 and was also named the general manager in 2019. We’ve featured Patterson in an article on the site before, where one of the discord regulars, Tom Leonard, guest wrote an article highlighting his many connections to Tech: Six Degrees of Hockey
