The young Swede has yet another award to put in his trophy case, earning his second rookie of the week honors. Caderoth led all WCHA rookies with 21 faceoff wins, 8 shots on goal, a game-winning goal and three assists last week.
In fairness, Caderoth had 3 games last week (one against Ferris State and two against Alabama Huntsville) from which to pull data where most other rookies had 2. However, the Gothenburg, Sweden native continued his point streak to 8 games over the same stretch.
The Huskies are back in action tomorrow afternoon at 4pm at Ferris State, followed by a non-conference matchup this weekend back home at the Mac. Look for Caderoth to continue his streak of dominance during the three games against the Bulldogs this week.
